I first saw Deacon Blue at the Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool in England 20 years ago.
I remember that night sneaking an old point and shoot film camera in with me and capturing a photograph of the lead singer Ricky Ross. I loved that photograph and although it got lost somewhere it kickstand my love of photography.
Life kind of got in the way and along with pressure to get a real job photography fell by the wayside.
Fast forward 20 years and I'm back at another Deacon Blue gig sneaking another camera in, this time in New Zealand and a professional DSLR.
Where has 20 years gone? The good news is I'm still crazy about photography and Deacon Blue who a bit like my photography keeps getting better and better.
